ABOUT ME
Hi everyone! My name is Angelina Velardi, a born-and-raised New Jersey dancer with a lifelong passion for performance. I trained competitively for years at Prestige Academy of Dance, where I built my technical foundation and discovered my love for being on stage. That journey shaped who I am today, it taught me discipline, confidence, and professionalism that carry into everything I do.

I graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor's degree in Communication and a minor in Advertising. During my time there, I served as Airband Chair for my sorority, Sigma Kappa, where I led a cast of 300 women in a large-scale creative production, all while performing in it myself. That role sharpened my leadership, time management, and ability to communicate and motivate a group toward a shared goal. Guiding a team with no prior dance experience to three consecutive championship wins, and watching them grow into performers and friends along the way, remains one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.

I've had the incredible opportunity to work at a competitive national level with dancers from studios all across the country through Journey Dance Competition, including their 2026 season tour and three national productions. Being trusted to contribute to that level of competition, with dancers who all bring different styles and training, has pushed me to grow tremendously and given me a deeper understanding of what it takes to deliver a truly polished, competition-ready performance. It's an experience I'm incredibly proud of, and one that continues to shape the artist I'm becoming.

I continue training every day by taking class in NYC and New Jersey, learning from professionals and surrounding myself with so many talented people. My drive grows every day to become the dancer I've always dreamed of being. Being a dancer is my favorite role of all, it's who I am. I love the feeling of performing live, but I also love being in front of a camera, bringing energy and personality to every take. I am focused on building a lasting career in the professional dance industry, bringing dedication, versatility, and passion to every opportunity.
